Ana's alien encounter.

The encounter occurred about 20 years ago when she was away from her family home and living in the seaside town of Lake's Entrance in Victoria. She was renting a small caravan in a Caravan Park whilst working in a local fishery. She lived alone in the van and just casually associated with the town folk or other park residents.

After some months of living there she met a new comer to the park and established a friendship with him. He was a tall, blonde haired young man with a very friendly disposition. Before long he regularly came to her van in the evenings where they either played cards or just chatted together. Most of the conversations they had has eluded her memory, except for one, his somewhat humorous story of one of his travels to the Australian Outback, where he somehow managed to penetrate the security safeguards of an American military compound. To my awareness, this must have been Pine Gap, the only American Top Secret base that I know about situated in the Northern Territory, a military base which has sparked significant opposition from the media and other alternative groups in the late 70's and 80's.
Although she herself found nothing mysterious about her new found friend, just that he was young and adventurous she did, all the same, become aware that other residents were somewhat mystified about him. No one knew anything about him; where he came from, what his name was, and what he was doing in the park amongst them. Obviously, he wasn't communicating with anyone else in the park. Rather than be concerned over other resident's concerns and suspicions, she simply shrugged it off as simple curiosity as well as park gossip, often experienced in small close knit communities. Especially if that curiosity remains unsatisfied.
This relaxed attitude that she had towards her was soon to change. One night, after they had finished several rounds of cards, while she was seeing him out at the door, she got the freight of her life. Suddenly, without warning, his entire facial features changed before her eyes. In her words, he became ugly and revolting. Entirely something not human. Momentarily she was frozen at the door, looking at him fearfully. The change in appearance did not last long and he resumed the harmless appearance of his usual self.
Today, recalling the experience, she remembers that he was very surprised at her sudden reaction. She recalls him saying that she was the only person that he met who could see what he really was. The question of 'what he really was' was never considered at the time. As a parting gift he reached into his backpack and withdrew a stone and gave it to her. It was a weird stone. It resembled a petrified brain, veins and all. To her, it looked more like an egg, a petrified dinosaur egg, an egg she would, many years later, after believing it may be such, she brought it to a museum for analyzing. The results, to her was disappointing. It was simply volcanic stone.
Regardless of the stone's insignificance during the period of being in her possession it had many experiences. It turned out that individuals with dubious intention were for some reason afraid of it. Religious people sensed strong superstition surrounding it. She was continuously advised to discard the stone. So, as a result of peoples fears, the stone passed through many dreadful experiences. It was buried and dug up again on various occasions, thrown into the garbage can and again retrieved at numerous times. Some superstitious individual even drew a crucifix on its underside.
Conclusions:
  1. Why did he choose her above all others at the park?
  2. What was the alien's fascination with the stone when he first found it? Did he intent to take it back to his own world?
  3. His behavioral pattern seems more like a young teenager. He obviously disregarded the no contact rule and probably wasn't even allowed to be on the planet. Hence, had not her own psychic awareness revealed the nature of his spirit, he probably would have kept his secret.
  4. Judging by his appearance..obviously of the reptilian species.

  5. It has been my belief for some time that he infused the stone with an aspect of consciousness, whereas, he probably spied on her for some time, probably until the consciousness weakened and wore off.
