The Union Between Knights

Bear in mind that the early Knights Templar actions against the Church were of no sinister nature.  The small nucleolus of the knights was that of nobility, as was the Teutonic, whereas the larger contingent of Templar and Teutonic comprised of the ordinary man serving the Orders in general, mainly in wars.  To attain closer to the rank of Knighthood was only through shows of loyalty and devotion to the course.  Once this criteria was evidenced the man was shown worthy and through initiation was properly knighted by the Grand Master of the various orders.  Only then could he share and partake in the spiritual brotherhood and its associated mysteries of deeper knowledge.

The Freemasons of this century, although having their beginnings with the Knights Templar, do not possess the true mysteries of the Knights of old, neither are the current objectives of the Masons today in harmony with the medieval knights.  Not all Knights Templar scattered to later become the Freemasons, but many knights simply took refuge amongst the Teutonic Knights and accepted their coat of arms.  All though having been deceived by the Church and let to the slaughter they sought not vengeance upon the evils of the Church.  Instead, having united and become brothers in arms with the Teutonic, they persisted in the protection of the Church and its adherents.

Not only were they the protectors of the Church and its subjects, or sheep, they were also the protectors of the pure spiritual teachings of the Holy Spirit that resided within Jesus during the three years of his divine ministry.  This is something people do not understand.  There was not just one being crucified that day on the cross, but two, Jesus the Anointed, and the Holy Spirit from above.
